What a rating is
A star rating on a store page is an average with a count under it. The average is what people look at; the count says how much weight it can bear. Both are printed, and both are copied here with the split by star that the pages give.
FxPro: Trading & Investing — Google Play
The header of the page shows 4.5 stars from 104,041 ratings. The “Ratings and reviews” block shows 4.5 from 102,446; the two figures differ by 1,595 ratings and the page does not say why. Split by star: five stars 78,391 (75%), four 12,488 (12%), three 6,477 (6%), two 2,440 (2%), one 4,229 (4%). Four and five stars together are 87% of the 104,025 ratings split. At this count one added rating moves the average by at most 0.00005 of a star.
FxPro Global: Trading Broker — Google Play
The header of the page shows 4.5 stars from 3,463 ratings. The “Ratings and reviews” block shows 4.5 from 3,373; the two figures differ by 90 ratings and the page does not say why. Split by star: five stars 2,600 (76%), four 403 (12%), three 235 (7%), two 134 (4%), one 67 (2%). Four and five stars together are 87% of the 3,439 ratings split. At this count one added rating moves the average by at most 0.00145 of a star.
Reading the split
Look at the bar for one star next to the bar for five: both are counts of people, and the page prints both.
A difference between two rows is stated once, in the table, and left without comment: two listings are two pages, and the ledger does not rank them.
How much weight a count carries
A single extra rating moves an average by at most five divided by the count of ratings, in stars: FxPro: Trading & Investing: 0.00005; FxPro Global: Trading Broker: 0.00144. That is arithmetic, not a view on the apps.
What this page leaves out
The store pages also show written reviews. They are other people's words and change by the hour, so they are not copied.
Listings that did not answer
Not every address read answered with a page. In the South Africa view, the App Store address for 1560667652 (answer: not in this storefront). A listing that does not answer is reported as not found in that view and is left out of the tables of figures; it says nothing about whether the app exists in another country or on another store.

What this page does not cover
This page covers one family of facts. The other pages of this site cover Identity, Descriptions, Versions and Data declarations. Nothing here comes from inside an app: no account was created, no identity document entered, no deposit made, no order placed, and the screens behind a login are not described.

Is a higher rating better?
Not without the count. The same average rests on very different numbers of ratings. — App Bench SA, 6 November 2026
Why are some figures printed twice?
A Google Play page prints a rating in its header and again in its ratings block, and the two can differ; both are shown. — App Bench SA, 6 November 2026
Does the site show reviews?
No. They are other people's words. — App Bench SA, 6 November 2026
Will the figures change?
Yes; a rating is a moving number, which is why each table carries its reading date. — App Bench SA, 6 November 2026
A bench of facts is not an account
What these pages read is the store's side: the listing. Opening a live account is a separate step with the broker, with identity checks and rules about sending money abroad that sit outside any app. Read the broker page before you decide, and do not trade with money you cannot afford to lose. — App Bench SA, 6 November 2026
